Hmmm.... Not that I really have much content to type right now. Spent way to much of the past couple hours inside some Borg-like structure. Not that I really have much memory of it.

Hmmm... Maybe I really ought to put this in the content collective. But Ramblings hasn't had an update for a couple of days, so...

So I didn't actually get into the code until almost a half hour later. Spent a bit of time harrassing bouncing about the newly discovered fact that when I tried to sync my rambling to rage, the database was no longer accepting socket connections. Doh! So we had to get that worked out, which bouncing managed to do.

I just arrived back from my trip to return my rental to the Video Station and mail all the monthly bills. It took entirely longer than it should have. Partly because of the heavy snow, and partly because the postal service arbitrarily decided to increase the rates, making my current stamps useless by themselves. This prompted several detours around town in an attempt to acquire a few measly 1 cent stamps. Puuah.

Yes, Virginia, it is Friday.

Bitscape is going to fall asleep very soon, if he hasn't already.

So what did Bitscape, obsessive nut that he is, do last night until way after bedtime?

First off...

This weekend has been entirely too short. I mean, I know it seems that way after most weekends, but especially this one. Especially.

Alright. So this morning I slept in, and then started writing a movielog entry for Any Given Sunday. It's still barely half finished. lol.

Weekend. Here. Now. At long last. Very good.

The Collective Code, and all of the (I think) supporting modules I use are now downloadable from the web site. I did minimal manicuring on it. Or should I say, No Manicuring? ;)

Feeling totally braindead at the moment. Maybe a little time in the Content Collective will aid the content farming spirit.

Having been following the recent content nearby (at least in web geography, it's nearby) with (almost) complete silence up until now, I must now say that this had me vulturizing more rabidly (that's raBid, not rapid) than I have in quite a long time.

Note: I am writing this entry before having really delved into the bonus features or DVD commentary tracks.

Except for the sounds coming from my speakers.. Heh.

Wowee. Crank the paranoia level up another 10 notches, will ya? I don't think I'm quite freaked out enough by Micros^H^H^H^H^H^H .. ahem.. Nurv's nasty business practices and proprietary, backdoor-ridden software to realize the danger, so let's go for the "Big Brother is watching" angle. Everyone and everything around is being controlled by a huge conspiracy, masterminded by the evil incarnate himself, Bill G^H^H^H^H^H^H Gary Winston.

Okay, so maybe that's a bit overdramatic. And not really true either. I mean, heck. Look at all the stuff somebody has been posting just in the past day.

Surfin around using the brand new Mozilla 0.7 release...

... and IMMEDIATELY upon walking in the door from work, having barely taken time to throw his coat off, Bitscape sits down at Argo and types the ramble command. And I don't really even have anything of importance to talk about. Does that prove I'm a psycho or what?

[Bitscape again makes the mistake of putting a DVD on while he types a rambling.]

[Being both the content vulture and farmer obsessionist that he is, Bitscape attempts his first real "write content while movie runs" bit of content. Although most of the content probably won't be about the movie.]

...And then, in as much as it had seemed nearly impossible to keep myself awake 3 hours before, I found myself back in the realm of consciousness, unable to return to dreamland, despite my efforts to do so. The clock read 2330. A few minutes later, and here I am.

It just seem like a good idea to split this off into a separate rambling. I'm not sure I'm really going to have enough content this time to constitute a full rambling, but we'll see. I always manage to spit out something or another.

Well, the trash buffer is pretty much as full as before, and the shelves... well, they're partially arranged.
