I've been feeling kind of bummed out and depressed lately. I realize that the reason has a lot to do with me feeling like my life has hit a dead end. Very little to look forward to, not much to strive for, and not a lot of hope. I'd like to remedy this situation.

I know it's a little late to be making resolutions. And yes, I'm laughing as I write this. But here we go. Some things that I'd like to aim for in the future.

• This year, I shall find a real job, preferably where I can put my technical skills to good use.
• This year, I shall buy a new laptop PC.
• This year, I shall meet lots of women. Maybe one of them will eventually become my girlfriend, but then again, maybe not.
• This year, I shall endeavor to become more assertive and expressive in meatspace.
• This year, I shall obtain lodging of my own.
• To thine own self be true. Always.
