Midweek this and that

Alrighty then. I figure now might be a good time to post an update, despite the fact that I can think of very little to say.
Well, Monday and Tuesday went by sans home Internet access. Since bouncing switched jobs, his account got axed, and none of us were exactly on the ball enough to have prepared for this ahead of time. Silly us. Well, we're back on now. Splittin the bill for the time being.
So... otherwise, how would I describe this week? Today the weather was shitty. Rain all over the place. Well, actually, rain itself isn't all that bad. It does seem to create a rather adverse affect on people's moods though. Ho hum.
Oh, there was something kinda cool that happened at the employee lunch today. Yours truly was one of the people honored with gifts from the higher ranks, which are generally given as a reward to a few people manegement believes have done especially well in getting the job done, or something like that. A new eSoft shirt, an eSoft journal, and a redphish ballpoint pen. That was cool. :)
I also finally got off my ass to get over to the car insurance place to get my vehicle insured. That's something I've been procrastinating lately, but not any more. Now I just gotta register it with the county, and I can get real license plates. :)
Let's see... tv shows.
- Monday, Ally McBeal: I just have one thing to say: Nell is truly a bitch. Damn.
- Tuesday, Buffy and Angel: So much for The Initiative. lol. Angel was really impressive. More of the inside of the Wolfram and Hart (sic?) firm. That ending had chills running down my spine. Did you buy it?
- Wednesday, Voyager: Well, the bulk of the plot was pretty much a rehash. How many times must the ship acquire or run into alien life form bent on taking over/destroying the ship, only for the captian to discover if he/she can "communinacte" with it, all will be well? That said, I did find the framing of the story as Neelix telling it to the Borg kinds rather funny.
Web stuff: I note that more people are out there revamping or updating the look of their web pages. I might have to post some kind of update even if it is garbage, just to get the ball rolling on mine. Such a perfectionist, I am. Sometimes, that can hinder progress.
Hmmm. Well, that's it for today's content. Maybe tomorrow or later, I'll post a rant or something. It might be fun to do that again. But right now, I think I'll try to get a bit of sleep.
