Well, now if I could just put as much energy into getting Version 2.0 working as was just spent in fun but totally useless little code pissing contests, maybe I might actually have something worth releasing! :)

In other news, I met with an old friend for lunch today. (Oh, alright. Here's a link, as if everybody who regularly frequents couldn't have figured it out -- or at least made a good guess -- anyway.) Fun for the whole family.

I also got a pointer to a very tempting looking url today. Damn, very tempting. Of course, making such a purchase at said url would violate, not one, but two boycotts I have running. I dunno.

I wish I could make the purchase, and designate that my money only go to the people who actually had a useful role to play in the creation of quality entertainment. Screw the DVD CCA lawyers. Let them starve in the streets, for all the good they do for society. But reward people like Chris Carter and everyone else involved in creative stuff, or constructive tasks which actually accomplish something cool. A quandry it is.

But that DVD set certainly looks tempting. And the price is certainly right too. Nevermind the fact that I don't currently have a player. :)
