YES! YES! YES! YES!
I am now the proud owner of a brand new dark blue Dodge Plymouth Neon!
This has been a day to remember. An historic occassion. Well, heck, I got my first car! Brand new! It's a fucking HUGE day!
Friends (and there are two readers of this page who both gave me excellent suggestions, pointers, and moral support), I thank you. Ya'll are just so cool, make me feel so good. Without you, it probably would've taken me months to get where I am now on this. It's like I'm surrounded by this mighty world wide web of greatness. hee hee hee. :)
But in this case, the proverbial feet I REALLY should be kissing are those of my dad. My God! The amount I'd be paying were it not for his presence, support, backbone, negotiating skills, and credit rating (which actually ended up helping a BUNCH, contrary to something I said to somebody in an earlier email).... Holy cow! I mean, given the money he saved me in both interest rates AND sticker price... It baffles the mind. I am truly indebted.
Hmmmm... I was gonna just make this entry a really short one; get the basic idea out, and then watch go my tv shows ('cause tonight is ALL NEW! :) But it looks like channel 2 is running waaaay behind schedule tonight. Must've been some stupid hockey or other such idiocy. (/me ducks the inevitable flames which are sure to ensue. ;) Or baseball. Or basketball. Whatever. They're all the same to me. ;)
So, I'll go on for a few minutes. But I'm still saving the comprehensive report for when I KNOW there will be plenty of time to write it. :) Of coures, it might also be wise to get some sleep, so I can actually be AWAKE tomorrow when the other family members are sure to be begging for a ride around the town. This is just TOO cool though. :)
Actually, I think I will end this rambling now, and just chill for a few minutes. Maybe run down to 7-11 and grab a snack to munch on during the show. I can do that now! :) :) :)
Revel in this a little more. Relish the moment. :)
I assure ALL readers (just as I did a few minutes ago to one who was curious enough to send an email, which was happily waiting in my box upon arrival. It's so cool to come home, login, and see it waiting. Thanks for that too!) that a FULL report WILL be posted. The sun might be rising by the time it finally appears, but it WILL be written. Yipee! :)
Alright, relish I do. I am overcome with euphoria. Is it safe to drive under such conditions? Heeheehee. Off to buy Xena/EFC snacks I am! Love ya all.
