Tim recently started a Celebrity Tarot project, to which several people have already contributed. I found several of the entries inspiring and amusing enough that I decided to make one of my own. And so I present... The Mousigician.

The Mousigician dazzles the masses, using his magic to charm the hearts of children, where he will hold the power to both influence and comfort them until their hairs turn grey. He uses elaborate images of fantasy and wonder, distracting observers from his master's more sinister agenda of denying the public access to the roots of their culture by extending copyrights indefinitely, effectively eliminating the public domain. Behind the magic kingdom, out of print books are locked away by corrupt legislation, never to be seen again. Meanwhile. who really controls smiling mouse's cheerful act? Could his carefree demeanor be not spontanious at all, but the product of a calculating and devious mind pulling the invisible strings? Or does the mouse have a soul of its own, still innocent and blissfully unaware of the vaster schemes in which it acts as a pawn? Will the mouse ever be freed from the magician, or are they eternally entwined? Perhaps they really are just a single entity: The Mousigician.
