Jaeger took me out to lunch today at Wahoo's. We decided to eat outside, it being a balmy January day, and ended up having the whole outdoor patio to ourselves for most of the meal. While eating our burritos and tacos we discussed exciting things like the job market, circut boards, and cubism (with the word "game" prepended).

I spent most of the afternoon being semi-productive in the job search and resume department. I think I need to formulate a better strategy than applying for random positions that sound within my skills that happen to get posted on monster.com. (It is truly a sad time when a search of ALL the computer/tech related jobs in the Denver/Boulder/Fort Collins area, even with no keyword filters, turns up only about a half a page of listings posted each day.)

I am holding to the theory that yes, there really are jobs out there that need to be filled. Somewhere. It's just a matter of finding them, and then cutting through all the noise of millions of other unemployed losers. Yes.

At around 17:30, my parents called, and were like, "Hey, you want to go to Cici's?"

Though I wasn't exactly starving, thanks to the big burrito I had eaten for lunch, it would be grossly remiss of me to pass up a trip to Cici's Pizza. So I agreed, and had a nice salad, followed by a bunch of the savory all you can eat pizza from the buffet.

Now I'm thinking it would be a good idea to get back to refining my resume or something. Or maybe it's time for a little change of pace, to maybe do some actual (gasp) coding.

Then again, I could always hunt down yet more random urls to spew into content solutions....
