Logins. Fun. Did most of the coding last night. Added bits of polish, and a few little features tonight. (Gotta give people some reason to use it, right?) More to be done. Like user profiles, nested comments, and other stuff. I think the UI could still use a few tweaks too.

On the job search front, I did some poking through the newspaper today. It looks like there might actually be a fair amount of demand for driving type jobs around here. If I can get a copy of my Colorado MVR (on the todo list for tomorrow) and convince the right people that, yes, I'm a reliable worker as well as a good driver, there might actually be something for me in the not-too-annoying category. Wages and hours don't look too bad either, especially when compared with the good ole deli.

Of course, the truly good paying driving jobs require a CDL, which I naturally don't have at this point. But if that type of stuff turns out to be a workable gig, it might be something to think about for the future. We'll see...

Tonight, I journied to Boulder and attended meditation class at the Shambhala Center for the first time in over a year. I almost didn't go, because I was feeling, like, really sluggish, and trying to make excuses about it. But I held myself to my own promise. I'm glad I did. Those classes are a Good Thing.

Meditation for the soul, information and dialog for the mind, and even some little snacks for the body. I came out feeling refreshed and awakened. Well worth the requested $5 donation, even on my budget these days.

I guess that's all for the night. I'm trying to get into somewhat more semi-normal sleeping hours for a while. The theory goes that if I actually get up in the morning, I might be more likely to get around to some job hunt related stuff by afternoon anyway. It worked a little bit today.

A little bit each day, and perhaps progress can be made. In keeping with the Shambhala spirit, I'm trying to be gentle yet disciplined with myself regarding this job hunting situation, as historically, I've tended to have such a racket about the whole thing. A little focus, a little energy, and a little effort.

So there it is. Goodnight world.
