Ho hum. Cookie cutter plot. Cookie cutter characters. The sequel potential is more than obvious. In fact, when the credits rolled, it didn't feel like I had watched a complete movie. Maybe the first 2 acts of one. Continuity errors and unresolved plot points abound.

It did have some nice points. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner did well enough in their roles, although again, it didn't feel like their characters were very well flushed out at all. I blame that on lazy writing, not the acting.

The idea of a blind superhero is cool, but the movie didn't really take that idea as far as it could have.

The editing and pacing could have used some work too. It just felt... sloppy, especially in comparison to other superhero movies that have come out recently (or even not so recently) like Spider-man, Batman, and their ilk. Though I know there are comic fans who will attest to the ingenuity of the original Daredevil comics, the movie felt to me like a cheap knockoff.
