Today, I journied to the Boulder Compound, where activities included the filming of footage for a documentary about the making of the worst scifi series.
This afternoon, I ventured out of the district of Westminster, to journey to the far away land of Boulder. (Yes, even though I now drive there almost every day to work, it can still be called "far away" for the purposes of some discussions.)
On the way, I ran a few errands, and made a stop at the Temptation Zone, as well as a local Target, to procure a mysterious item or two.
Shortly after I arrived at the Boulder Compound, Chef Jaeger began preparing a mysterious cuisine to be consumed for supper. I observed with amusement, documented a bit of it. and joined Captain Logan and their mom in consuming it. We also got to sample the evidence of Jaeger's 1337 b4k3X0R skills -- bread which had been produced by nifty little automated bread maker.
After the evening meal, we proceeded with documentary filming, with consisted of me sitting in a chair in front of the landing shuttle set piece, while Jaeger and Captain Logan filmed and asked me questions about the series. I babbled a lot of mindless blabber. Through the magical innovation known as editing, I'm confident that the Logan brothers will be able to coerce my incoherent statements into something vaguely watchable.
With the portion of the filming that involved me complete, Jaeger and I commenced to play a few games of Magic. I played a black deck (which had been constructed long, long ago in the land of ucollege.edu) against Jaeger's blue and white deck which featured a lot of flying creatures. My luck did not fare well, as Iost 3 games out of 3. Jaeger conceived of a wild and obsurd idea that one or more of us might actually try building new decks again one of these days. Perish the thought! (Could he have been inspired by a recent writing by Yanthor? Nah.)
And now, here I am at the Laser Fortress, giving my dad intermittent tech support regarding web pages for his "businesses". (Don't ask. You really don't want to know.)
Now, I have within my immediate vicinity a veritable feast of unwatched television show content. While I was at the Boulder Compound, Jaeger presented me with the complete third season of B5 episodes he had encoded. (He's was running what nearly amounted to a B5 encoding farm, utilizing both Ziyal and a beast known as "hydroillian" to help with the encoding.)
Also, the complete first season of Angel, which I managed to pick up during my visit to the Temptation Zone. (Ok, so I actually did watch most of those when they first aired, but that was a long time ago.) I figure that between these two items, I should be able to keep my hopelessly entertainment-addicted brain occupied for at least a week.
But before I watch, I'd like to create one more little thing for this web page. Why? Because I feel like it.
