Well, my adventure at the job fair today proved to be a sad excuse for an excursion, if ever a sad excuse for an excursion there has been.

Slept waaaaay later than I should have. When I finally got up at 1430, I made preparations. Carted my printer back over to dad's place, decided to go with a much-abbreviated version of my resume (so it would easily fit on one page), printed up a copy, took it to the grocery store, made a few xeroxes, and it was on to downtown Denver!

One situation, which I had thought about earlier, but forgot to address, was that I was out of cash. Of course, I should have realized that parking would incur a fee. It was 1600. Job fair would be over in an hour. ATM required. No wells fargo in sight. Hate foreign ATM fees. Only an hour until the whole thing would be over. And what were the odds of finding anything worthwhile here anyway?

I considered my options, drove around the blocks a few times, and....

Returned home.

lol.

Pathetic, I know.

I am the buildmeasite support dog, as depicted by Brady (or was it Emitt?), lazily laying on the floor, wagging its tail every now and then, making an enormously silly spectacle of itself, but ultimately accomplishing a whole lot of absolutely nothing.

Well, I did send at least one resume out via the net tonight. Maybe I'll send some more out before the night is over. If I do it enough times, statistically speaking, eventually one is bound to hit a target, right?

Then again, maybe I'll just get lazy, and watch a couple more B5 episodes. My quandry has been whether to experience the story in low quality versions now, or DVDs when they come out in april. This debate been greatly swayed toward the former by the items Jaeger placed in my possession last Thursday. After all, when they're within arms reach, how could anyone resist?

Ok, I've decided. Here's the plan: I find 1 more relevant job listing, send my resume into the void, and then do B5.

That's the ticket.
