Mini-phest and Content

After having been to the phesting event at the Boulder Compound, I am now swinging by the Laser Fortress to check some much-heralded recent web content, and write a little of it myself.
Since it has been slower than slow at work ever since Thanksgiving ended (apparently the so-called "biggest shopping day of the year" does not include grocery stores), I took off slightly early and headed to the Boulder Compound, where a screening of Fellowship of the Ring was in progress. Zan Lynx, Jaeger, and Kiesa attended.
As per Jaeger's request, I had carted along a certain console gaming device. After the movie, Kiesa went to bed while Jaeger, Zan Lynx, and myself did some video gaming.
Jaeger showed us a book of pictures, which has inspired me that it would be a good idea to finish writing the rest of a certain multi-part epic in the Very Near Future. (But not at this very moment, since it would be nice to get some sleep sometime soon.)
One advantage of my current job is that, generally speaking, I like the time of day I work. Going to work in late morning or mid-afternoon, and working into the evening is much better suited to my nocturnal tendencies than waking up shortly after the crack of dawn every day.
Hmmm.... regarding my future, in terms of employment and otherwise... There are some half-formed thoughts floating around in my head, which I would like to express, but I ponder whether now is a good time to do that. I think that, given the lateness of the hour, I'll save them for later. Better to let them form a little more, and write them at a time when my brain is less tired and has more time to process clearly.
Well, that turned out to be a big paragraph of nothing. :)
Alright, I'm going to hit the sack momentarily. Originally, I wasn't scheduled to work tomorrow (which is now technically "today"), but a coworker's friend had a major family emergency (suicide in any case sucks, but when someone who a little kid ends their own life... that's just insane), so I agreed to grab his shift tomorrow so he could help them out.
That means I'll need to be to work at 11:30. Nothing insane, but it does mean I should get a little rest real soon.
But I was feeling mildly inspired, so I decided to stop here and type this first. Adios.
