Alright, so getting the Laser Fortress wired happened more quickly than I expected. The network is wired. My dad can surf from his iMac successfully, and I've synced my rambling. :)

Here's what's spooky: AT&T gave argo exactly the same IP address it used to have back in the Castle Lair. My suspicion is that their hardware determines the IP address based on MAC address. Ain't it crazy.
