Well, I filled out the application in the store. The friendly clerk said that they'd give me a call for an interview. We'll see...

In the lodging department, both of my parents have stated that I would be welcome to stay in their places during these tumultuous times. Though I'm not exactly salivating over the idea, I have to admit that it would be better than staying in my car. It would be better to show up at whatever job I may find having showered each day.

They both live close enough that any job I find from this apartment would also be conveniently accessible from theirs. Despite the fact that they can be annoying at times (aren't all parents?), my parents are cool people.

I've also got a lead which might put me on a slightly faster track to a king soopers job, thanks to the one and only scottgalvin.com. Now, if I can just work up the balls to cold call this individual...

Alright, this is good. My life is not going to completely crumble into oblivion, but it's still crazy. I can handle it, with much help from good friends and relatives. Peace, ya'll.
