The conservatives out there are gonna hate me, but....

I have now scheduled a job interview tomorrow with the Sierra Club. According to the person I just talked to, they're currently hiring hard working people to help wage a campaign against the Bush administration policies of allowing power plants and oil companies to increase pollution, destroy the earth, oppress the poor, yadda yadda yadda.
They're wanting to hire people to engage in political activism. Curious, I asked exactly specifically what the job would entail. What methods would be used. According to my notes, "Asking people to sign petitions, make phone calls to representatives, and the media using local outreach campaigns." Or something like that. I'll learn more about it when I go talk to them tomorrow.
Did I actually schedule this interview? Will I have any interest in working for them? Will they have any initerest in hiring me? At any rate, this is going to be entertaining; whether or not it actually results in employment or not.
Who knows? There's even a 1/100 chance it may even work out! The person I talked to on the phone was nice enough.
Have I really become such a leftist that I would actually go with this? Or maybe an opportunist, given the circumstances. We'll see.
Well, Bush does suck. Not sure I'd like the candidates they advocate any better though. I'll have to ask some pointed questions.
I know what I'll do. At the interview, I'll take the opportunity to ask them a question or two. "What's your position on laws like the DMCA?"
Hmmmm... Not sure whether to file this activity under my "political awareness" or "employment prospects". I guess I'll find out soon enough. This is too funny.
