At work, another week goes by, faster than light. Episode II came out at 12:01 Thursday morning (my movielog is dated correctly according to movielog policy). Last night, I found out that one of my uncles I barely knew has died recently. And naturally, rage has gone into another outage.

My parents are going to the funural in Oklahoma this weekend. Since we had planned to go to San Antonio next weekend (memorial day), they are going to hit the funural on the way, stay over a few days there, and continue on to San Antonio at the designated time. I contemplated the thought of taking more time off work to attend the funeral, but... I barely knew the guy. Saw him maybe 2 or 3 times in my life. It wasn't like my world has shattered upon hearing he had passed. Not trying to sound callous, but perhaps I am. Anyway...

This course of events alters my trip to San Antonio, because I had been planning to ride there with parents. Now, I'm either going to drive there, or fly one way and drive back with them. I'm not certain which yet. I'll figure it out soon.

But tonight, I'm gonna don my black, drive downtown, and hang at my favorite dance spot for the evening. Loosen up, drink a couple beers, maybe meet a few of those beautiful members of the female species (if I'm lucky and/or brave), and certainly soak in the music.
