OMG, that was awesome! Yoda is my hero. Though,
unlike many people, I loved Episode I, I think I
would have to agree with Mr. Zan Lynx. This one topped
the first.
This film is pure Star Wars excellence, beginning to
end. I may not be very coherent right now, because it's after 3
in the morning right now, and I sat in line 1.5 hours +
2.5 hours in the theater before the show began. It was
well worth it.
This movie is also best watched with a packed crowd
that is totally into it. No disappointed fans tonight
that I could see. The critics were idiots. Yes, the
acting could be called a bit non-natural by normal
standards, but this is the Star Wars universe. It's an
epic and timeless tale, where the characters are more
than the mere people whose bodies they occupy, if you
know what I mean. The over-dramatic delivery fits.
As for story, the pieces are falling into place. My
only complaint is same one I had when Episode I ended.
The end credits rolled just when I was really,
really getting into it. We want another 3
hours, dammit! Episode III, now. NOW!
Enough of this incoherence. I need SLEEP. Thank you.
