So much for the cinema

The plan was to go to a movie. That didn't quite work out.
I suspected I was in trouble when I arrived at the United Artist down on South Colorado Blvd. The parking garage was a swarming pit of hell. After much waiting through bottlenecks of cars, I finally found a spot to park. As I approached the theater, the printed pieces of paper become visible. "Brotherhood of the Wolf sold out". Doh!
I guess that's what I get for trying to arrive 10 minutes before show time for a movie that is only playing on one screen in the entire metropolitan area.
I got in the car, navigated my way out of the mess, got back on the freeway, and contemplated my options. It was getting late to see many other shows. I considered just going home. As I drove on, I thought there might be a slim chance of getting to Gosford Park on time, since it had made its way into a megaplex near the lair.
That decision made, I hit the gas, and sped back to the northern area. Flatirons Crossing. Crazy drivers out there on I-25 on a Friday night.
When I got there, it turned out I had not remembered the screen time correctly. Off by 15 minutes. Even if I had remembered right, I probably would have missed the trailers. Doh.
At thise point, I decided it is not my lucky night for seeing movies at the theater, and headed back to the Castle Lair.
But, as always, I have a backup plan.
