More than 1 sentence this time?

Maybe more than 1 sentence, but not much more, because in a few minutes, I'll be heading off to the cinema. As to which cinema it will be, I'm still deciding, but there's a 90% chance my choice will have been influenced by a content solutions poster known as drizzt.
After a bit of a lapse in the exercise resolution last weekend, I went out and jogged after work Monday, Wednesday, and today. Once you get going at a good pace, with the blood pumping through the vains, the breathing in and out, the muscles flexing in time, you just don't want to stop. For anything. Tonight while I was running, my shoe came untied. I thought about stopping to tie it, but I just didn't want to let go of the rhythm. So I ran for like 10 minutes, until the laces got so loose that the shoe was about to fall off my foot. Then I got out of breath and walked. Hmmmm... Perhaps it's getting time for some new shoes... Though I do generally loathe clothing stores of any kind (with the exception of computer trade shows, star trek conventions, and thinkgeek.com), they are sometimes a necessary evil.
I've been reading Fellowship of the Ring each night before bed. Mmmmm... good book. Now that I'm getting into reading it, I'm seeing that the movie was even more abridged than I had first suspected. Still a great film though.
Well, I have finally done what I have been thinking about for a few weeks now. This evening, I put in an order with Qwest to cancel my landline. It's just insane to be paying for 2 phones, when 1 is more than plenty for my uses. Cell phone service is cheaper anyway. The only reason I've kept the land line this long is because (1) my cell phone doesn't work in the castle lair, and (2) a backup pipe for net connection. My plan is to cancel both and get a new cell phone.
The last straw came during Buffy. The phone had already rang 4th useless time during the course of the evening (the 1st had been a wrong number -- understandable; the 2nd had been nothing but silence on the line; the 3rd was an obnoxious telemarketer who I hang up on). But this 4th one took the cake. Not only was it a telemarketer, but it was from Qwest themselves! Tele-spamming their own customers, apparently! Hrrrmmph.
After irritatedly hanging up the phone, during the next commercial break, I went to the qwest website, and happily found a form where I could cancel my service. I filled out the fields, but somehow, on the last confirmation step, the page managed to crash my mozilla (that hasn't happened in a while). Annoyed, I reopened it, filled out the page again, and the second time it worked. They wanted my email address as a required field so they could send a confirmation email. I calculated the probability that this would generate spam to be high, so I made a distinct alias on my domain for it. If I get spam, I'll know where it came from.
The land line should go down next week. In the mean time, I need to be shopping for a new cell phone. I should also get my Verizon service cancelled, although I might leave it up a month or 2 so people who have my old number can get my voice mail during the overlap. Hopefully, when it's all done, I will have 1 phone that I can be reached at anywhere, 1 bill, no more confusion when I tell people my number, and No More Telemarketers! Yea!
Alrighty. Time for me to be heading out of here. This will be my official reward for having exercised this week. Off to the movies!
