More Info

This movie will wrap itself around your heart, pull the noose tight, and squeeze until you just can't take it anymore.

Summary: Set in World War II Japan, a boy and his tiny sister become orphans of war after their home is destroyed, their mother killed, and their father away at sea. This beautfully animated film is about their journies and adventures together during the wartime.

It will make anyone with a shred of humanity want to sob. Guaranteed.
