As anyone who read the last rambling might guess, I spent a good portion of the day today sleeping. A good thing.

Today, I also read what is likely the most thought provoking and well researched article I've ever seen on kuro5hin. What a mouthful. I'm tempted to expound, react, and/or launch off onto many a possible tangent. I don't think I'll do that right now, though. I still need some time to process a lot of these ideas. I do, however, recommend that anyone and everyone set aside a good chunk of time to read through the article (it is long) and peruse the many other sources it links to.

I just read another mega-comment also posted by the author, responding to many of people's reactions. Yet more info to digest. Best viewed with an open mind.

After spending most of the day in bed, I woke up in time to take a nice jog just as the sun was setting. Even though I haven't been doing as much running this week, I can feel that my body is much better attuned to it than it was a month ago. I just start out at a casual pace, remembering not to go too fast, run up the hill, across the plateau to the park, and turn around to come back to the house. No more feeling like I'm gonna hurl, I don't get the sensation that I'm pushing myself to near collapse, and when I reach the end, I just feel good. My calves don't even ache.

I think I'm going to work on gradually increasing my pace. Key word here is "gradually". This is a good thing.

Pondered activities for the evening tonight... Well, I'm kind of drawing a blank. For some reason, I almost feel like I'm in the mood to review some choice episodes of the X Files from my Season 1 and Season 2 DVD sets. That seems like it could be a good idea. I think some yummy food might be in order too.

Alright! I think I just devised my plan. Make it so.
