Big event around here for the evening: A little over a half hour ago, I was returning home to the Compound from my trip to mail the bills. As I drove into the driveway, I noticed a couple of cars parked out on the street directly in front of the house. I flagged this as slightly odd, since usually nobody but guests or residents here park in front of the Compound.

My sleep cycles once again seem to be going erratic.

Sometimes, I just have to laugh at all the time that is wasted by people who have nothing better to do than write BS on the web. lol.

Um.... not a lot of content around here in recent days. Guess I haven't had much to say. Heh.

Not much of anything of substance to say, but I figured it's been a few days since I rambled, so maybe it's time to attempt to make an attempt.

Life is a gift. I sense my ability to appreciate it gradually returning, and I find that invigorating.

This morning, I forced myself to get out of bed and go to work, despite great duress from certain parts of my emotional psyche. I am glad I did so.

I just finished watching my VHS copy of Remember Nothing, from Season 2.

Now wouldn't it be very silly of me if I failed to acknowledge that today is indeed Valentine's Day on this, my precious web site? Yes, I think it would. Be silly, that is.

The past 3 days have been filled with them. Times I wish I could wake up from whatever sick dream my mind has placed me in. Times I know I'm awake, but wish I wasn't. Times I think I'm dead tired, but then when I try to lie down, I find myself unable to sleep.

His music touches my soul. Deeply.

Watched it. Good film. Chinese with English subtitles. Nuff said.

While exploring various facets of my recent life (and pains) through the Content Collective, I came to a realization. Somehow, it brings a little bit of peace to the recent chaos of my life.

Something I have realized even more over the course of this day: "Time heals all wounds" is easier said than done. To extend the analogy, I would say the blood has barely begun to clot, much less leave a scab or a scar. How deep does it really go?

Work week ends. Weekend begins.

I have a feeling I might even wear that song out before the radio does.

Okay, so maybe I do have a little bit more to say than I thought a few hours ago. On with the unpleasant update on Bitscape's (lack of a) life.

The title is not referring to anything I physically carried today, but to what I just read.

So here I am. Dead tired, but actually getting myself to sleep is proving a little more difficult than expected.

After a rambling like the one I wrote last night. After a weekend like the one I experienced. After a day at work like today, it's hard to know just where to start another rambling.

That title is a grave understatement. This one could, by the very nature of the subject matter, turn out to be one of my darkest ramblings ever. I'll let that be the disclaimer.

That one turned out to be less than inspirational. It's one of these movies I would file into the category of a (fairly) well-made film, but due to the subject matter, I can barely classify it as entertainment. Traffic is to the drug war what 8mm was to the snuff porn industry.

So.... here I sit, typing again.

Alrighty then. Yes, I'm up late. But I had a nice long nap. Very soon after getting home from work, I collapsed on the bed in exhaustion.
