Well, my brain is fully in the spine tingling groove about now.

Watching an episode is like a warm-up. Slowly, as the story unfolds shot by shot, image by image, note by Mark Snow-composed note, the brain sinks into a state of simultanious revulsion and elation. Every lighting-deprived 30th of an interlaced second is a theatric masterpiece.

Second episode of the evening, one is in the groove. All thoughts of time, space, reality, and this odd word called "sleep" are engulfed into a forgotten realm of fiction. Lost in the chaotically blissful nightmare. A phosphorescent glow two meters away.

Third episode of a run and after, it just becomes an instinctual matter of hitting the play button, sans conscious control, at 46 minute intervals.

Quick summary: Last night (meaning Thursday) and tonight (meaning Friday), I was joined by bouncing in the viewing of a few X Files episodes. If I'm not careful, season 2 is going to be over before I know it. In the event of such a tragedy, it might just be time to start back at the pilot again. Until the season 3 set gets released. Hehe.

Yeah, I'm hooked. Hopelessly.

Must sleep now. I'd say wierd dreams are a likelihood, but I'm doubtful that they could be any wackier than the events I've just been absorbing. Most of the episodes I've already seen on one occassion or another in the past, but still...

Watch it again, for the first time.

That's all for now. Good thing I can sleep as late as my body requires tomorrow. Very good thing. Night now.
