The fest was officially scheduled to begin last night at 2100, although by the time I actually got Argo powered down in the Louisville Compound, the clock read 2109. I had been attempting to diagnose why my accelerated 3d drivers had been refusing to work ever since switching from my manual tarball install to the Debian XFree86 packages of X4.

Freakin out! I can't believe it's nearly 0300 already.

Almost immediately after the last rambling, I was out.

Well, I suppose work went fairly well today, considering that I got virtually zero sleep last night. Aside from the feeling of having been run over by a tractor for most of the morning and afternoon, I felt pretty good. Hah.

Well, if I just did everything right, there should be a new lounge now...

In the realm of Bitscape's Lounge, THIS is what we call a content drought. Or at least the closest we've seen in recent memory.

Yes indeed. So today after work, I took Tobias on a little journey to what seems to have become one of my favorite locations for acquiring little treasures: Best Buy.

Truly. Not a single rambling since last Friday night. (Okay, technically Saturady morning.) Barely a Content Collective square or two. Content Solutions.... Well, I've been all but absent from that as well. I'm not totally certain, but I suspect this may be a record for the year 2000 in the longest amount of time spent without a single rambling from me. Not a peep. It almost smacks of a flashback to summer/fall 1999.

Well, my brain is fully in the spine tingling groove about now.

It seems strange that December is here so quickly. Why, just a little while ago, I was watching The Matrix on VHS pan-and-scan at 4am to hail in the new year (the day all the power plants were supposed to explode, cars stop running, and the toasters cease to work), after which my brain felt so inspired that I drafted a little stack of ambitiously aspiring resolutions on the spot.
