I like a lazy Saturday morning

I think for the first time all week, I actually managed to sleep through the entire night last night. Went to bed at around 2300, and didn't wake up at 0200 to find myself sleepless hours on end for a change. When I opened my eyes, it was 0830 I think. Much better. Took a long shower, read another chapter from my Witchcraft book, and watched a couple songs off the Ozzy video. (The one I bought last month.) Then I drank a glass of orange juice. Now I'm contemplating going right back to bed. lol.

Having finished Part 1 of my book, which discussed Folk Magic, I'll be starting into Part 2, which actually covers Wicca specifically. My mentor suspects that Wicca might not be right for me at this point in my life. Nevertheless it is good to learn. The book my mentor really has encouraged me to read (and warned that getting through it will be difficult; read it once straight through quickly, and the second time reading go through all the exercises. I'm looking forward to it. I think.) hasn't arrived yet, and might not for a bit.

Being a self-run operation, it looks like a business somebody just runs out of their basement, and the email notice regarding my order said said, "We are a tiny little company, so if I'm away, there isn't anyone to ship things." Okaaay. If it's as worthwhile as my mentor says it is, the wait will be worth it.

Oh, yeah. Regarding books. Thursday, I sent an email to fatbrain regarding the book I had ordered last Saturday, asking why it hadn't been shipped. I got a response saying it was on backorder for several days. Friday, I got another email saying it had been shipped, and was being sent express airborne. Hehe. Cool.

(This was the book I ordered before my wise mentor decided to help direct me in my quest to discover the Pagan ways. Well, actually, I think where was an inherently Pagan influence in many of the earlier items taught me by my mentor. In fact, I'm certain of it. But it wasn't until I explicitly expressed an interest in such things through last week's religion topics that my mentor began offering further guidance in these matters. For that, I am glad. It's almost like having a Cyber Guardian Angel. Watching over me (i.e. monitoring ramblings content), warning when there is danger, lending assistance when needed, and helping me to see things I had been blind to. Then, when I'm ready to move to the next step, pointing out possible ways to progress. How could I ever have hurt such a being?)

Yawn. I think I might just do that back to bed thing. It sounds very tempting. Candles. Mmmmm. Dreams. Yes. Head, fuzzy.

That's it. I'm going to sleep. After all that insomnia, I'm due for a little extra. Nighty night.
