Hehe. Semi spur of the moment plans have been made to do a Q3 match tonight. It all started when Zan Lynx made the proposal on Content Solutions. Bitscape (although that's not his Quake name) responded that he would be interested. A little later, Jaeger decided he was in as well. (Which is a good thing, since he's the one who has historically taken the role of setting up the server.) Who knows, maybe Neelix will join as well! (And the unlikely possibility of anyone else who happens to keep track of up-to-the-minute developments on these pages.) Fun for all.
Today I did a healthy share of sleeping. Read some chapters out of my book. Wicca. Very interesting. Not sure I'm gonna buy into it as a religion for myself, although I did like the God and Goddess invocations featured in the book. Quite poetic.
This afternoon, I thought about renting a movie, but decided instead to watch one of my very all time favorites from my own collection. Contact. If there exists a movie that can portray and convey the essence of a life altering spiritual experience, it has got to be that one. My eyes were watering, despite having seen it bunches of times before. Just awesome.
This evening, I've been sitting around having miscellanious configuration fun with Argo. Dug out my collection of old fonts, and had some fun trying to hack X4 to recognize them. (Actually, it turned out to be very easy once I found the right documentation. I just needed to load the proper font modules in my XF86Config file. Getting to the info that tells you it needs be done can take a little digging though.)
Played with Gimp for a couple hours, beginning the preliminary design work on the big ole image that will go at the opening curtain to my page. I think I've gotten a new source of inspiration lately. Heehee.
Well, I think I'll get out of this chair, jump into Tobias, and run and grab some Taco Bell to ingest during the weekly Xena ritual. Most excellent.
