Ok, it's tomorrow. :)
And I raise my head and stare
Into the eyes of a stranger
I've always known that the mirror never lies
People always turn away from the eyes of a stranger
Afraid to know what lies behind the stare
Listened to the rest of that album with the volume on my headphones cranked slightly higher than what is probably good for one's health. It's a theraputic thing. Really! :)
Now, what was I going to say?
Oh yes. Well, of the two games I bought, I've been playing Quake quite a bit more than Railroad Tycoon so far. I played the railroad a couple hours the other night, and totally sucked at it. I get the strong feeling this is one of those games where you really should RTFM. And then once you understand it, you almost certainly get addicted, and end up playing for ten hours straight. I'm sure it'll happen to be before long. Maybe even before the weekend is up. But when one just wants to plop, and turn off the higher brain functions for an hour or two after work, Quake really does the job more effectively. :)
(And yes, I really did get Argo for more purposes than just playing games. Truly, I plan to spend some quality time with Gimp and/or Blender soon, and the results will be visible on this page. Really!)
Well, I suppose some web page improvements and/or sleep might be in order now. A little of each, perhaps? Perhaps.
