Bitscape gets fragged badly

Alright, so yes, tonight I downloaded the Quake 3 demo and played it for a while. (I still haven't received word from LinuxMall since last week about when my someday-to-be-ordered copy of the full version will ship.) I suck at that game. I really suck. Horribly.
Argo didn't seem to have any trouble with it though. I was afraid the 3d drivers might cause a crash, like they had with the demo screen savers the other day. No such misfortune. I'm getting the slight feeling that the authors of those drivers made getting things to work well with Quake their highest priority. :)
Also downloaded the sawfish window manager. Last time I tried it a few months ago, its configuration options weren't feature-complete enough to suit my tastes. This time... maybe. I dunno.
Hunting down all the rpm dependencies really made me want to hurry up and get Debian installed on Argo. I want my apt! I want my dselect! I want my Debian! :)
And right now, I'm about ready to fall asleep in this chair, so...
That's all for now.
