Since we seem to be in the mode of "conversing" via content postings on our respective web pages. Does this constitute taking silly cross-referencing to a new extreme? :)

And now, the content itself.

Yes, I can see how it might have appeared that I was assigning to my car multiple identities. That was not my intent, however. The regex I used was meant as a humorous play on the name somebody else had been using to refer to my vehicle. I did not at any time have any intention of giving my vehicle any of the names this individual was using. (I did, for a time, consider another name -- which is vaguely related -- but decided to stick to the original plan, and save that name for my next PC.)

As to the origin of said name: Google is your friend. :) (If the search needs to be narrowed, one might also employ the use of the other name which does not belong to my vehicle, but which said individual was using to temporarily refer to said vehicle until I -- because of this indivdiual's extreme insistence -- chose a real name.) Would the linguists call that "Bad Style"? Eh, whatever.

Well, as for "consumer-grade" operating systems (or how 'bout using the term "idiot-grade" to refer to the whole sad lot of 'em?), my foray into the usage of one such system at work has proven to not only be an aid to productivity when sorting out compatibility problems, but also the very act of installing and running it in a unique environment has proven most entertaining as well.

As for stability, how would I know? Hasn't crashed since a correct install was finally completed, but then again, I prefer not to keep it running for more than a few minutes every now and then. Memory consumption and all. (And running stuff under such emulation isn't fast enough to be any kind of a pleasure cruise, no matter what operating system you're working with.) Oh, the BIOS: Since it's all emulated as well, I assume it must be pretty decent. No problems here, anyway.

Oh yes, and Thursday lunch. I didn't mention it before, cause it's a fairly routine thing, but I ate at Wok and Roll on that day as well. :) That would be the Nth time eating there since starting at my current job. Of course, I went to the one in Westminster (or is it Arvada? All the cities run together so much it's near impossible to tell the diffence these days, unless you're one of those anal retentive types.) I am assuming that a certain other individual ate at the Boulder Wok and Roll. Otherwise, we might have bumped into each other. Quite a coincidence. Small world. (Oh, and BTW, I ate with chopsticks as well. More fun that way. :)

Alright, I'm well overdue to be doing some DVD watching, so... peace.
