And the weekend cometh already!

Damn, this week went by in a flash! Seems like just moments ago, it was Sunday night, and I was taking the blue pill. Wait a sec! Maybe this is all a dream! Maybe this week never happened, and in a moment, I'm going to wake up to find that it's Monday morning. Not only will I be dead tired, but all the work I've accomplished all week won't have gotten done, so I'll have to start everything all over. All those wonderful algorithms, down the toilet. Doh!
Or maybe not. :)
Lucid wakefulness.
So anyway, I stuck around the office much later than usual tonight, doing.... well, let's just put it this way: I got my exercise for the week. :)
Hmmm, I suppose it might be a good idea to say a little more, although I have to wonder if it would spoil the Monday surprise for anyone from the office who who goes home and reads my web page on the weekend (yeah right, like any of the people who weren't already involved in the little scheme regularly read this. But then, I never know for sure, cause I never look at my logs. And even if I did, I probably wouldn't have a clue).
Well, let's just say that things will be looking... very, very festive next week. ;)
And on another semi-work-related note: Pop question: What is the the only thing better than a two hour Friday lunch (as was experienced one week ago)?
Ten seconds to answer...
5... 4... 3... 2... 1...
That's right! The only thing better than a two hour lunch is a three hour lunch! Especially when the food is on the company's dollar. :) Ah yes, that was fun. And delicious! Boulder at The Med, near Pearl Street. Sorry, no sushi shrimp head stories to impart this time. ;) But mmmmm.... the appetizers. Mmmmm, the salad. Mmmmm, the eggplant parmesiania. MMMMM, THE CHOCOLATE! I'm just glad I wasn't the one payin the bill, cause... ouch! But mmmmmmmmmmmm. :)
Spoiled rotten we are.
But guess what? Five and a half hours later, and now I'm hungry again! Starved, in fact. Must've been all that exercise. It isn't every day that ya do lap after lap with the ladder in hand. Many, many laps. Many, many pieces of tape. Many, many ..... :)
So now, I think I'll go see about procuring myself some nourishment, after which time I shall set about watching the DVD movie I procured approximately 48 hours ago, but have yet to make a mention of within the confines of these postgres records. Or within any confines, for that matter. :)
And we're off! Let the weekend begin!
