Ever get the feeling you're a cockroach that's about to be run over by a tractor? When I left work today, I promised myself I wouldn't post a continuation to last night's piece. Not tonight. Not yet. So I'm not.
Oh, but I will say this: To the person who read last night's entry and sent me the email, it was appreciated. This morning, the morale boost really helped. Ok, I said I wouldn't write about it, and I'm gonna stick to that. (Not doing a very good job of it, obviously, but anyway...)
Alright, I watched tonight's new Buffy and Angel episodes. Was again reminded that there are at least a few reasons to have the boob tube around. I love the way they did the Buffy parallel universe episode. A cool twist to the concept. Write the whole episode, from the beginning, from the POV of the alternate timeline.
For the first two acts, I was like "What the hell?" I thought that guy looked familiar, and I figured he was someone from a prior season. But still, it didn't make sense. Turns out I had seen the episode last season which had him. He just acted so different, that it didn't register that this was the guy from that episode at all. Great job on the subtlety though. Loved the intro credits! (Through my brain: "Is he gonna be a new regular?" lol.)
Angel: also very good. I'm not sure I really bought the whole thing about the drug though. My understanding was that the "bliss" had to be, like, an actual orgasm. Oh well. The writers made it; they can do what they want, I guess.
