Clouded brain, not very inspired, but here

Well, today marked the last day of "C"'s time at eSoft. As such, the whole gang -- or at least those who were able to make it -- headed out of work early to go to B.J.'s in Boulder to wish the coworker a final farewell. The last time I went to that restaurant was an outing last fall with all the x13 people.
Ugggh. I'm not sure how well this rambling is gonna go, cause I'm about to fall over right in this chair. Mild sleep deprivation combined with mild alcohol consumption make for a cloudy brain. A very sleepy cloudy brain.
So anyway, the group hung out there, sipped beer, ate pizza, had a romping good time. Yum.
Afterwards, we headed down the street to a bar, where some members played pool, while others of us just... hang out. There was a hockey game on the tv there, so A attempted to give G and myself something of a lesson about what was going on. A couple other people, who haven't been assigned letters, wandered over to the booth and -- being into hockey themselves -- were able to carry on a much more intelligent conversation with A about the game and related matters. G (the gargoyle) and I listened with some amusement.
After a while, several people decided it was time for them to head home. A was initially going to drive G home, but she was feeling fairly tired and wasted, and so asked B if he would be willing to take up the responsibility. B agreed. A took leave.
This left B, C, D, and G. C and D, who had been playing pool since arriving at the establishment, invited B and G to play a game. B and G are both self-confessed suckies at the game, but they agreed to play.
Played a couple games, which were relatively enjoyable, then B and G decided to take their leave as well. C and D attempted to convince them to stay longer, but were unsuccessful. (D is really very good at the game, and actually plays in a league as well.)
B and G, on the way to G's residence, discussed company histories, their personal pasts, and other miscellanious topics of interest. B dropped G off. On the way back to the Louisville Compound, B proceeded to crank the radio up to a deliciously ear-splitting, gut-vibrating volume when one of the local radio stations decided to play a couple selections from Pink Floyed. Impressive sound for a vehicle with "basic" equipment.
And now, B has arrived home, and finds he can barely keep his eyes open. How did A put it? That place between sober and sleepy. Or something like that. I don't think I got it right. Anyway.
(Just in case anyone's worrying, no, I didn't drive drunk. I had one glass of beer. I probably would have had more, had I not been conscientiously aware of the fact that I would be needing to drive home. I think this current state is caused just as much my last night's middle of the night wake-up-and-ramble session than any brain-altering substance. Although those don't hurt either.)
Well, there it is. My evening with the bunch, boiled down to a few paragraphs. Certainly not the most creatively descriptive stuff in the history of this web page. But sometimes, the mind just runs out of juice.
Well, I had fun. But right now, my head is about to hit the floor. G'night all.
