Despite the way my programmer's instinct is tempting me to do a minifest tonight and complete a postable interface for version 2.0, I'm resisting in the hopes that I'll have a little hope of maintaining some state of alertness at work tomorrow. Instead, I resorted to putting little FIXME's and brief pseudocode commments in various files where I know exactly what needs to be done. One of these nights, I'm also due for some quality time with Gimp, so it'll have something other than boring old text which could only be appreciated by lynx users. :)

I must be in a total rhetro mood tonight, because, after listening to Madonna's True Blue while hacking the lounge code, I perused my cd collection, happened upon, and proceeded to play a cd I haven't listened to for years: Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation 1814. Ahahahahah. Insane. There's some memories from junior high. lol. It's currently playing in fade out mode, to theoretically put me to sleep. More like act as a major nostalgia wave.

For some reason, my brain feels alert and ready to code. Must... resist... the... urge. It's strange though. I haven't had any caffeine since lunch. Although I did take a very brief snoozer between supper and Ally McBeal. (Too bad Mr. Bisexual Coffee House Appellate Judge didn't work out. And here I thought he was going to be the one. lol.)

Oh well. I guess I'll go ahead and make some futile attempt at sleep.
