Brief version of the latter half of this week:
- Wednesday night. Since Scott was house sitting again, I visited him. Scott bought dinner -- theoretically some sort of reward for my sluggish semi-completion of a project milestone, or something like that, but I think it was really out of the goodness of his heart. We ate like carnivorous beasts. Steak, with a side of grilled chicken. Oh, and bean dip too. I stayed overnight, and almost got myself re-addicted to Firefly yet again.
- Thursday evening, BLUG. A guy from Northglen talked about his experiences implementing Linux in government offices. Afterwards, Jaeger and I hung out for a while at Caffe Sole and talked about various important matters.
- Right now. I am being a goddamn slacker. Jaeger is succeeding at convincing me via jabber instant messanging that it might be fun to go wardriving tomorrow. Something I haven't done before. There's a first time for everything.
- I'm itching to make another dumpster run tonight. Right now it's a bit early though. I've found that the ideal time, for my style at least, tends to be around midnight, via bike. Maybe I'll try some dumpsters I haven't tried before. Adventure is the name of the game.
Quote of the day: "the less money you need, the more powerful you become." --Ran Prieur, in a post on the dropout mailing list.
I think I'll be wrapping things up pretty soon.
