Count the choices of possible activities for me tonight.

• Parents have offered to take me out to dinner for my b-day. I asked for a 24-hour raincheck, which actually works better for my dad anyway too.
• Scott, through one of his connections, happened to have extra tickets to see a band I don't really give a damn about. I politely declined. Hope he finds some interested party to give the tickets to. (If anyone reading this emails him fast (sgalvin at x13 dot com), you might be able to convince him to give them to you. But don't tell him I said that, because I honestly have no idea what he really wants to do with them now.)
• Hacking Society. Typically fun, but I have a scheduling conflict. Won't be there tonight.

Those who have been paying attention to my recent writings have probably already figured out where I will be. Yes, I'm insane. With any luck, my insanity might have a chance at being magnified and multiplied in the presence of others who share at least some degree of this lunacy. I hope so. Strength in numbers, as they say.
