All my queued up content from the trip and after has now been entered. Just to make sure nobody missed anything, here's a list.

Yeah, "Sunny Florida" was actually written in Colorado. But it sure feels like Florida in here today.

Most of the afternoon, I've been alternating between sitting at my computer and sweating up a storm, and lying down on the couch in hopes that the less I move, the less heat I generate. I finally resigned myself to being unproductive. At least I got a little something done this morning.

I think after this, I'll try going outside again. Maybe it's not as bad out there.

Last night, I went to Boulder, gave Tobias a bath, and attended meditation class. I liked the teacher we had last night. I've seen him a several times before, and he gives good talks. This one was no exception. In fact, it was extra good. A very large number in attendance too. The talk was entitled "Nothing to Achieve."

He instructed us in doing some additional meditation during the class portion of the evening. After a few minutes of meditating, he said, "Ok, now stop meditating. Continue to hold your body silently in the same posture, but do not meditate."

After "not meditating" fow a few minutes, he told us to go back to meditating.

Afterwards, we had a discussion about the meditation and lack thereof that we had just performed. I spoke up with the first comment (fortunately, I did not yell "First Post"). I said that right after he told us to stop meditating, I actually felt more in the present than when I had been meditation, at least for a little while.

He said that was exactly the intent of the exercise.

lol. We Buddhists love our irony, don't we?

On the way home, I listened to the title track from Tiesto's Just Be. In keeping with the theme.

If you're searching for truth, you must look in the mirror
And make sense of what you can see
Just Be
Just Be
...
Face up to the fact that you are who you are
And nothing can change that belief
Just Be
Just Be

Now I shall step out of the oven for a while. Hopefully, the air will be a little better out there.
