I like how Russian music download stores make it so cheap to buy an album that sometimes you might just start downloading random stuff or listen to semi-obscure bands you may have heard about, but never really listened to before. At around a nickel per song, how can you really go wrong?

I really should probably be in bed by now. I'm a little bit bummed that we didn't get to take the $SECRET_PROJECT_2 site live tonight.

Another unrelated deal occupied pretty much our whole afternoon. So by around 17:00, with the other stuff out of the way, scott got around to telling me that yes, our client really does want roll this out for real today/tonight. This was no problem from our end, except when I went to analyze the very last bits of data we had been sent (the part that we could only really make use of Just Before the official rollout), I discovered that not everything had been included. A critical piece was missing.

By this time, it was nearly 19:00, when pretty much all the "normal people" (i.e. those with lives) had left the realm of the working world far behind. I shot out an email about it, but of course, no reply was forthcoming, at least not tonight.

So I guess we'll either be wrapping that one Sunday or Monday, because I know I'm not going to be in front of this screen tomorrow.

And truly, if I don't stop downloading music, I'm going to have to buy a bigger hard drive.
