Sold 10 discount subs today. Not bad for a Friday. Not bad at all. Loveland was good to me. (It didn't hurt that I was able to offer the super extra discounted versions, plus free Safeway gift cards with purchase to residents of outlying counties, a deal not available in the main metro area. I wish we could do that everywhere.)

Now I've got a decent shot at hitting a bonus this week. If I can just sell 15 more over the next 2 days (not at all inconceivable, given my track record), I'll get the first bonus level. Fingers crossed.

I was kicking myself afterward. The reason had nothing to do with work performance. But dammit, if I had been a little bit more clueful, I would have asked that courtesy clerk girl out, or at least gotten her phone number. She showed me a nice fresh tatoo, which had been inked on her left foot just last night. Pulling up her pant leg, she was like, "Look what I got! See?"

If that ain't a come on, I don't know what is. But so blindsided was I, that I was like.... "That's cool... duuuuuh."

And then, a moment passed, and she was gone home for the night. Never to be seen again. And I won't be back in that store again either. Doh!

Bitscape the moron. Oh well. Tomorrow is another grocery store, another day, and more pretty female clerks to flirt with, hopefully in a less clumsy manner. What a difficult, burdensome life I lead.

Tomorrow, I'll be in Castle Pines. Way the hell down south. Almost as far south as one can get before hitting Colorado Springs territory.

So I think I'll just say adios for tonight, and peace out.
