Oven the past 24 hours, I have done the following:

1) Finished watching the Buffy season 4 dvds, as well as most of the commentary tracks. Awesome stuff. I've said the following sentence before, but it merits repeating. Joss Whedon is a television genius!

2) Read the first 3 chapters of Kiln People. FASCINATING book. It's one of the types that has the potential to alter my perception filters, or something like that. Totally wacked out scifi. The chances that I'll actually get close to finishing it in time for the Wednesday group are virtually nil. I'm undecided as to whether I'll actually attend at this point.

3) Wandered to Best Buy and bought Herc Season 1. The set also includes the 5 telemovies which preceded the series. Watched one of the movies. Circle of Fire. It was most fun. (I was more eager to see it than the first two, since I had not only seen them before, but had also had them included as part of another set). Also watched the first regular season episode. Hera was so evil. But I'm sure everyone already knew that.

4) Ate with parents at On the Border. Great food. Yummy complementary chips + salsa. I always order the beef burrito there. They put potatos in the burrito along with the shredded beef; though slightly unusual, the combination works surprisingly well. Excellent service too. Blah, blah.

5) Learned that the server on which this page is hosted may have been compromised through means which are as of yet unknown. (There are a couple of theories floating around, but nothing definitive yet.) Doh!

I anticipate that I will be enlisted to help with the daignosis and recovery operation tomorrow. But until then, I'm past due for sleep. Over and out.
