It was pretty much just like any other day there. Another day at work. But my last. How strange.

And so, life goes on.

Many of the prices on various items at the deli went up this week, even as a concerted publicity effort is underway to "inform" all our customers about how so many prices are being lowered. The mind boggles.

But it is no longer my concern. I am no longer a part of it.

New people have been hired. Judging by the hours on the schedule, more additional hires will probably follow. It is an industry of extreme turnover.

Tomorrow, Tobias has a followup appointment at Stan's to get that back wheel fixed.
