"WE WANT B5 ON DVD... WE WANT XENA ON DVD."

The sight this morning in Best Buy nearly brought a tear to my eye. Could it be that somebody, somewhere off in decision-making land heard my Content Collective post, all those years ago? Xena season 1 and B5 season 2, both released on the same day. Unbelievable.

Unlike the B5 Season 1 release last November, when there were only 2 copies(!) shipped to the Broomfield Best Buy and none at the Arvada branch, it appears that this time, they actually had the foresight to stock a significant quantity of B5 season 2 boxes.

The Xena sets filled even more shelf space, with 2 shelves stuffed to the max with season 1 packs, priced reasonably at a $60 a piece.

And so it was that I found myself at the checkout, shelling out $150 for these long-desired treasures. ($80 for B5 + $60 for Xena + $10 sales tax = $150)

/me shall have to be very frugal for a while now.

Now, without further ado, I shall put Argo's DVD drive into action. Hooray!
