This afternoon, scottgalvin.com came to the Castle Lair to drop off payment for the work I've done on buildmeasite.
I haven't been keeping terribly thorough track of the number of hours I've spent working on it lately. (Largely because a lot of my effert seems to get done in chunks of a half hour here, a half hour there, 10 minutes here, and another 20 minutes there, etc.)
I will say that he was very generous though, all factors considered.
He stuck around and we talked for like an hour or two about stuff (not sure exactly how long; I wasn't looking at the clock). I won't go into detail, but... It felt good to converse about various matters. scottgalvin.com is a good man.
These are rough times for a lot of people. Looking at the bigger picture, even now, I actually have it pretty damn good in a lot of ways. This is just a crazy time.
Talking about the bubble which came and went, he said something that I can totally agree with. "I'm really glad I was able to enjoy and benefit from it while it was here."
Me too.
Now, I'm going to go back to organizing my cd collection to pack away for the big move. Argo is pumping out some of the best oggs in my music collection through all the speakers in my residence. I love the music.
I intend to enjoy this apartment until the very end, knowing that though I cannot see it yet, there will be another new beginnig ahead.
Thanks Scott. Let's keep the missionary work going.
