Catharsis

I think I'll attempt a little catharsis of my own. Having no job SUCKS. There, how's that?
Today, I am feeling so overwhelmed that I have almost entered a state of paralysis. This is not good, because there is a ridiculous amount of stuff I need to get done.
I am moving out. At the very least, this means I am going to need to get my stuff packed and ready. Exactly where and when it's all going to go, I don't know. That complicates things just a wee bit. Planning becomes difficult.
Figuring out where I am going to go. This means figuring out where my next job will be (if any). If bouncing's tales are to be believed, it appears that there may be some ray of hope in the Land of the Salsa. If Jaeger, bouncing, and myself all ended up working down there at the same company in the same city, that would be beyond nuts. But let's not get ahead of ourselves just yet.
Buildmeasite. There's things that need to be done there, both because I feel that I have an ethical obligation to follow though, finishing what I've done, and turning it into something that actually ends up being of use to the business, and because the spare cash wouldn't hurt. (I'm using the word "spare" very loosely here, because.... well... there is no such things as "spare" money right now. But we'll pretend there is anyway.)
Note to self for the future though: Work-at-home contracting and me don't mix very well, regardless of the task at hand. I have way too much tendancy to get easily distracted, procrastinate, and then end up feeling guilty even in my "free" time for not getting enough done.
It works much better for me when I can go to a separate physical location where "work" happens, I get the work done, and then when I leave, the works stays at work, and home is home. No mixing and mushing of the two together, to the point that neither is quite truly effective at what it's supposed to be.
However, that said. I started on this. I need to finish it. (After having spent the last two days doing a grand total of virtually nothing.)
My macaroni is done. I want to watch Buffy. So this rambling is over. Peace, ya'll.
