Days like this make me wish I really did work for a porn company. When I threw everything up on the public web server directory last night, I wasn't sure what the reaction would be. "Nah, nobody else would ever be interested in my helter skelter collection. But what the hell. The cable modem is going down soon, so let's go all out."

Well, the verdict is in.

A statistic or two, using simple copy-paste from the command line:

Over 2/3rds of the non-local http requests to bitscape domains since the beginning of the day have gone to that little directory tree. Hallelujah! lol.

Well now, I'd say it has clearly been demonstrated beyond the shadow of a doubt that there is obviously an interest amidst a significant percentage of this site's demographic. (Yes, the bulk of requests came from several distinct IPs, and there was evidence of some spidering, to which I say: Totally go for it. As long as my line is up, it's all free for the taking.)

Now I'm tempted to investigate running some sort of thumbnail generator to make it easier for people to browse. Hmmmmm.... (Though I suppose I should be thinking about these things called "priorities" which might involve putting time and energy into figuring out how the hell I'm going to survive after this month.)

But at the very least, I'm going to throw out a few links. Call them recommendations. If you're into it, and can afford it, throw a few bucks their way. Ya'll won't be disappointed. They deserve it. They aren't assholes like the RIAA. Maybe if these links result in a few paying subscribers, they'll forgive me for all this shameless violation of copyrights.

• Princess Mandy. She's hot. You know it. I haven't been a subscriber for a while, but her stuff is still some of the best. Plus joining her site gets you access to several other top quality sites, like Brooke and Sydney. Go there.
• Hegre Archives. I cancelled my subscription to this one today. Tons of great photos and movies, but... I'm out of money, and besides, my hard drive has enough porn right now anyway. :)
• Keslin. The site hasn't been updated in ages, but the stuff in the archives is excellent. She was also into pioneering some wacky innovations involving integratinig web discussion boards with adult content. Plus, ya gotta dig any porn star who codes her own php and database code. :)
• TiffanyCam. Ok, I admit I haven't been around there for ages, but this is the first web site I paid money to subscribe to. Tiff is sooo beeeeutiful.
• Raven. Yea for goth porn! She recently revamped her whole site during the summer, and I haven't haven't been a member since last spring. But anyway, good stuff.

Geez, I'm starting to feel like Jane's Guide here tonight.

Hmmm... Enterprise has been on my tv, but I can't say I really watched it. Between typing this, and responding to instant messaging... well... no idea what happened.

But now the new Twilight Zone show is on, and I've actually rather liked all the episodes I've seen of it so far. So I think I'll focus my attention there, especially since tonight's looks really interesting.

If you could go back in time and kill Hitler when he was a baby, would you? Tonight's question to ponder; or so the teaser indicates. Cool.
