Many people have said that Monty Python is absolute must-see material. Well, now I watched a full length feature. Totally absurdist humor. Lots of funny stuff, much of it idiotic. I got many good laughs.

In some vague way, much of it reminded me of bits from some of the Worst Scifi Productions. (Perhaps a subconscious influence there? To my knowledge, the Worst Scifi writers / directors are not Monty Python fanatics, but I could be wrong.)

Lots of funny dialog. Sometimes, it does stretch the audience's patience, intentionally and overtly so. ("Get on with it!") I guess that's comedy.
