The weekend "trip" is over. I'm going back to work today. Things are looking pretty good.

However, I know what I must do. I must do exactly what I have conditioned myself to do: I will calmly walk into my job, and inform the higher ups that I cannot work for this company much longer. I will be willing to continue to perform, as I have, until sometime around the month of January. This will be my long term notice of departure.

That's what...?? Around 5 months notice? A little better than 2 weeks, as is generally good etiquette when an employee is preparing to quit. Heh. And MUCH more notice than my former coworkers got before they were cut off, although I guess they got some pretty decent severence packages, so they have probably been getting along ok.

Yep. That's my decision. It's my life story, and I'm sticking to it. Time to go get ready for work now. Peace.
