Don't mind me, I'm just a little stoned

^W^W^W In a state of higher awareness. Truly. Not stoned. Not at all. (But of course, now nobody is going to believe me.)
The question, perhaps, has only been asked once, but the mystery will surely haunt this nation forever. Who is scottgalvin.com?
But me, what am I doing? Um...
Or, not really.
[Bitscape munches on watermelon.]
For the first time in ages, a couple coworkers and I ate sushi for lunch today. We didn't even have to make a 3 hour expedition to Boulder to do it. A new sushi place recently opened near the new mall. (BTW, at what point does it cease to be "new", and simply become the same old "Flatirons Crossing"?)
Anyway, delicious stuff. This one was on the pricey side, at least as much so as the Boulder places, so it's still not something to be eating everyday (even if I were as much of a sushi fanatic as some people), but once in a while... yep. Good stuff. Loved that plate of uniquely deep fried role. (Though somehow, I suspect the deep frying cuts a significant chunk out of the theoretically "healthy" qualities of the food. But mmmmmm...)
So yes, that's my highlight for the day.
And for the week? Well, I admit, my content posting has been sparse. Much has gone on since my last rambling.
Location shooting for the Worst Scifi Prequel was completed, my portions having been shot on Sunday. Don't you wish you could be a scifi actor working a minimum of 16 hours a day, and 6 and 7 day weeks? Oh yes, please! I know I do.
Meditation class Monday night. Check.
Wrapping set shooting, also Monday night. Check.
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights....
In summary: "Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem"
I was naughty on Tuesday. I succumbed to the tempation. A coworker, who himself does not own a gamecube, but generally follows such matters, had on one occassion commented, "Word is that that game is incredible!" So, I checked the reviews for myself, which seemed to confirm this theory. Then, I bought it. :)
And where have the past 3 evenings gone? Hmmmm.... A great unknown mystery.
This game will screw with your head. Seriously. It's crazy. Total shock horror.
In a way, it sort of reminds me of those old Sierra games like King's Quest, where you wander around looking at things, reading flowery text descriptions about what's in the scene, picking up items, solving puzzles, etc etc. But so much more... Morbid. Sick. Bloody. Bizarre.
Yeah, ok. This rambling is over. It's starting to get dark outside. Gotta go play some more. lol. No, there's no addiction here.
The jury is still out on whether I'll pull myself away long enough to hit the club scene tonight. But anyway, the cube calls. Bye now.
