Sometimes, one could get the impression that IFC was created as a vehicle for people who work in Hollywood to vent all their pent up angst. This movie has it in spades.

The ever-amazing Kevin Spacey plays an abusive studio exec who endlessly tortues his assistant (Frank Whaley) until something finally snaps, and the man breaks into his house at night to repay his boss at gunpoint, exacting revenge for years of nastiness.

Um... Wow. Neither inspiring nor uplifting in the least. It's a riveting trip through the dark hell of Hollywood's power chambers, where back stabbing and acts of cruelty are "not only expected, but rewarded."

Michelle Forbes also has a role as a producer who gets into a relationship with the young assistant. (Remember Ensign Ro?)

The ending... Well, I probably shouldn't say anything to give it away. Absolute mindfuck. That description will suffice.

Definitely worth watching. Kevin Spacey is an acting genius. That's all now.
