Since don't feel like restating what I already
wrote, I'll just copy and paste,
since these statements still accurately reflect my
sentiments on the matter:
An adolescent Jennifer Connelly stars as the big
sister. In a fit of annoyance, she wishes her baby
brother be captured and taken away by the goblin king,
played by a diabolical David Bowie. Her wish is
miraculously granted.
In order get her brother back, she must find her way
through the labyrinth's maze of puzzles and tricks, and
into the goblin king's castle to rescue the baby.
Maybe the concept sounds corny and "little kids stuff".
Perhaps it is, but they did an awesome job. Truly some
of the most imaginitive stuff around, with a great cast
of wacky characters, and the music of David Bowie.
Loved the live action Escher reference too.
