Unlike Jaeger, I am not having to coordinate with anyone else for transportation to Lincoln, so I can leave whenever it is most convenient. I was originally going to aim for an 0900 departure (MDT), but after getting word from Neelix that he won't be off work and ready to receive us until 1730 (CDT), I have no intention of straining myself to get out the door "on time". (This may be a dangerous attitude to adopt, given my proclivity to eat up extra time doing useless stuff like playing Kohan, watching movies, and typing meaningless web content.)

Ah, but today there will be plenty to do between now and departure, since I procrastinated almost everything I was going to do last night! Pack up all the stuff I will need (along with all those extraneous items that are not strictly required, but a great deal of fun -- the bulk of my cargo), load them into Tobias, check tire pressure and all that good stuff, and head off into the vast, flat plains to the northeast.

Oh yes, and I'll need to resurrect Illian so those left in my wake won't be completely without net access for the weekend. There's probably half a bazillion other things I'm forgetting about at the moment. (Yeah, I was going to do an oil change earlier this week / last night, but it was raining, so that got canned. Tobias will be overdue after the return trip.)
